Let's redefine swimming with Strouke!

Strouke (Smart Swimming Hand Paddles) is a training swimming hand paddle whose main task will be to provide as much reliable data as possible useful during swimming training. The data provided by the paws will be useful both for swimming coaches and amateur swimmers who want to improve their swimming technique or simply record their training. The device uses a swimming catch, known for over 100 years in swimming training, but enriched with specialized, precise sensors enabling the analysis of the athlete's movements. As a result, it will help coaches and athletes in monitoring swimming technique and modifying specific behaviors and movements of the swimmer that are not performed optimally. The device is intended for use on the hand. It consists of a swimming grip (an element attached to the inside of the swimmer's hand) and at least one element holding it on the hand. The paw has sensors: at least 1 water presence sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, at least 2 capacitive pressure sensors connected via 12C or SPI buses to the control unit. Moreover, it is equipped with a battery and battery charging contacts. The solution fits into the idea of ​​Internet-of-Things (IoT).
